PayMetric Labs is a small team building compensation intelligence that actually helps people make pay decisions. If that kind of work appeals to you, we would like to hear from you.
What we build
Turning fragmented pay signals into decisions people can act on
Salary data in Ireland and the UK is messy. Job titles mean different things. Seniority levels are applied inconsistently. Most published figures blend roles, levels, and regions into averages that are accurate for no one in particular.
Our work is to clean that up: normalize roles, calculate like-for-like benchmarks, score each figure for confidence, and present it in a way that a candidate, contractor, or hiring manager can actually use without a statistics degree.
Data & Benchmarking
Role normalization, compensation modeling, confidence scoring, and methodology QA. The foundation everything else is built on.
Product & UX
Salary pages, search, calculators, and market reports designed for clarity and repeated decision-making. Complex data made scannable.
Platform & Reliability
Stable pipelines, trustworthy publishing rules, and transparent data operations. The part that makes the whole thing dependable.
Market Intelligence
Top-paying roles, demand signals, and pay growth trends drawn from structured benchmark evidence. Not opinions, numbers.
Editorial & Content
Benchmark narratives that are readable, specific, and honest about confidence levels. Good writing that does not obscure the data.
What we value in the people we work with
Specificity over generality
We publish benchmarks when the data is specific enough to be useful, and we say so when it is not. The same standard applies to how we work internally.
Honesty about what we know
The confidence score on every benchmark page is not just a product feature. It reflects how we think about uncertainty across everything we build.
Useful, not impressive
A salary benchmark that is accurate but hard to read is a failure. We optimise for real decisions, not showcase products.
