GCP-certified engineers are currently scarcer than AWS or Azure specialists in both India and the Philippines, which translates into a real salary premium, particularly for engineers who also hold data or AI-adjacent skills like Vertex AI. The tradeoff is a smaller pool of open roles overall, since most employers still run primarily on AWS or Azure.
