Most start on a single module (finance, supply chain, or HR) inside a GCC or IT-BPM delivery team, then broaden into cross-module functional consulting or move into SAP/Oracle project management. Analysts who pick up a formal SAP certification tend to move fastest into senior functional consultant roles.
SAP experience currently commands the stronger premium, since most Manila and Cebu GCCs are mid-migration to S/4HANA and are short on analysts who have run a live cutover. Oracle and Workday skills remain valuable, particularly at PEZA manufacturing firms and HR shared-service centers.
