Most consultants move from functional configuration work into solution architecture, owning the design of larger multi-module implementations, or into project management running the delivery of an entire ERP rollout. A smaller group specialises deeply in one platform, like Dynamics 365 F&O, and becomes the go-to implementation lead for that product within a consultancy.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 has a larger footprint among Swiss mid-market manufacturers and services firms, so it tends to offer more consistent project volume. Oracle skills are rarer and command a premium at the larger enterprises still running Oracle Fusion, so the better choice depends on whether you prioritise volume or premium niche positioning.
