Yes. Any annual cash bonus you enter is added to your base salary before the take-home calculation, so the estimated net figure reflects base plus bonus after tax. The market comparison itself, however, is based on base salary alone, since that is what's directly comparable across the benchmark data.

There is no single number that makes an offer good, since it depends on the role, seniority, location, and what else is on the table (bonus, pension, equity, benefits). As a starting point, an offer at or above the median for your role and country is a reasonable outcome, and an offer at or above the 75th percentile is strong. An offer below the 25th percentile is worth questioning, especially if your experience and skills match or exceed the typical profile for the role.

Equity is not included in the market comparison, because no reliable market data exists for equity grants: valuations, vesting schedules, and liquidity vary too much between companies to benchmark fairly. If you enter an annualized equity estimate, it is shown as additional package value on top of your verdict, clearly labeled as your own estimate, not verdicted against the market.

The take-home figure uses PayMetric Labs' own tax calculation engines for each supported country, applying the simplest tax situation by default (single filing status, no local surcharges, and for the US, federal tax only).
